Since everyone seems to be a big fan of New Haven bar crawls, we're doing another! And this time, I'm giving more than 2 days notice :) We're going to start at Lansdowne at 8:30. After about an hour, we'll head out and tour Crown St / Temple St / and maybe even Chapel St. If you can't make it to Lansdowne but want to meet up with us later, send me a text & I'll let you know where we are! Everything will be walking distance, of course. I'll email those who RSVP Yes as it gets closer so that you'll be able to find the group without a problem. See you all there!!
Kathy has kindly offered to host our monthly playgroup this month! She will email her address to "yes" responses a day or two before the group will meet. Those of you also on Club MOM who have responded there, I appreciate if you could respond here too.
We will demonstrate what Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) is and how it works. If you are serious about how your joints function or need help with muscle tightness/joint issues then this is the place to come.
Jesse from Milford Photo has graciously set aside this date for us, and we have 3-4 hours in the studio. There will be two lighting stations: The first will be using the Orbis ringflash. Ring light is a unique and specific light that is geared toward fashion, but also works great as a fill or regular key light. We'll also do beauty or clamshell lighting. This is a fun technique that is used often in the fashion/beauty/editorial marketplace. I do it with one Nikon SB800, shoot through umbrella, and a reflector. It is amazing the results you can get with the simplest of equipment. We'll spend an hour on equipment and the rest of the time shooting. The image above was taken with beauty light. Two Models supplied: TBD (Please note the slight upcharge for the second model) Hair and makeup: TBD I look forward to seeing you there.
..It all begins with the Beatles. The music they recorded. The influence they left behind. One evening in March of 2006, Tim Palmieri and Sean Miller were playing music together. Sean was showing Tim how to play "Dear Prudence" when the two musicians thought, "What if two people tried to play every Beatles song that was recorded alphabetically from A to Z. Thus became the concept of The Beatles A-Z project. The two musicians have been influenced by The Beatles since first being introduced to the music at an early age, which contributed to their vast knowledge of the music, lyrics and the nuances you hear in the original recordings. Their role in presenting this project is to perform each song just as the original recordings were recorded; all the while making each song their own. Another purpose for presenting this, that Tim and Sean both agreed upon, is to share their enthusiasm and passion of the Fab Four. Come join Beatles A to Z as they bring back the spirit of the Beatles after the amazing August residency. It will be quite event. We hope that you will come and enjoy the music that has influenced us over the years.

We started playing Connecticut in 1997 and have since grown our territory faster than a door-to-door Jehovah's Witness, with gigs in five New England States. Like the Big E, but naughtier. We play New York and New Jersey, too... But that doesn't seem to impress the puritans back home. We have been featured on VH-1's Cover Wars, so you can see we have national exposure too!

New York and Irish music have a long and storied history together, a collision of two cultures that results in bedlam, beauty, and alot in between. SHILELAGH LAW embodies all that is New York Irish Music: old songs, new songs, jigs, reels, dancing, weeping, lots of laughter, plenty of drinks, and the inevitable visit to the local diner at 5 a.m. By interpreting traditional Irish Music through the filter of the urban experience, SHILELAGH LAW helps to define the Irish-American experience that is such a big part of New York town.
