In this gathering you will learn how to craft soap from scratch, adding different herbs and essential oils to use in Ritual work and to give as gifts! The soaps take 6 weeks to cure and the second part of this class to finish the cutting and wrapping of the soaps will be on Saturday, November 6. It is important to cleanse our bodies as well as our spirit when we prepare for Ritual work. Crafting your own soap, to be used specifically for this purpose is the perfect way to prepare us mentally as well as physically for magickal work. Please wear play clothes!

Learn to Belly Dance, build grace and confidence as you practice swirling veils, swaying hips, undulating torso movements and fluid belly rolls. Open inner awareness and be creative as you learn to improvise to the enchanting music. Jenann has a smooth dramatic style. She specializes in controlled Egyptian hip work accented by flowing veil work. From graceful swirls of the veil to striking hip and torso movements, from mysterious rippling hands to quivering vibrations she teaches grace and elegance. Body movements target waist, stomach, hips, thighs and bottom. Graceful arm movements tone upper body. You will discover muscles you never knew you had as you learn to control and isolate each one, strengthening and improving tone and flexibility. Jenann began her dance studies at the age of eight. She has a background in jazz, and classical ballet. She has performed with numerous companies and directed several of her own. Welcome to the Open Moon Circle! This is our opportunity to come together as a community in sacred space and practice loving ritual in the light of the Moon. For centuries, people have been gathering in love and peace to honor and celebrate the cycle of life by the waxing and waning of the Moon cycles. This is your opportunity to come and share your energy and love in this monthly Rite. Each Moon Circle will try to be held on the Friday preceding the actual full moon to embrace the waxing aspects of the Moon's energy. The purpose of the gatherings will vary from month to month as each month, a new facilitator will be performing the Rites of that Moon. Have you ever wanted to host a Moon Circle? Welcome to The Craft Quilters! This is the first gathering that will spell out the design of our Goddess Inspired Quilt. Each person will have a square that they will design and create that will ultimately be sewn together to create a beautiful, unique, magickal quilt. The cost is $10 for this first meeting... that's it! We will be gathering monthly until our quilt is done. The cost will go to providing all the materials needed to finish off the quilt (the thread, batting and binding) as well as the initial square. Any and all scrap material that anyone would like to donate would be wonderful! This is not only for sewers! The squares can be painted, sewen, stitched, embroidered and in some cases, glued!! This is about the collective effort of everyone involved to show their love and inspiration of the Goddess. We will decide, as a group, the final destination of the Goddess Quilt. Do we donate it, auction it off for charity, or use it to facilitate healing & meditation sessions for those who need it most? It is my hope that this first quilt will be used in some way to benefit the Dana Farber Cancer Institute here in Milford. All of this will be discussed at this first meeting. Get ready for some inspired fun!

Over 100 auction items include: autographed Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins items, golf outings, restaurant and store gift certificates, TV Diner "Diner for a Day" certificate (be featured on the Billy Costa TV show), jewelry, museum passes, movie tickets, theatre tickets, Daily Show with Jon Stewart tickets, hotel vouchers, airplane tickets and more! Tickets are a $10 donation and include a 2011 Project Smile calendar and prize drawing entry. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at www.projectsmile.org/events.htm Project Smile is a non profit organization dedicated to helping children involved in traumatic events.We donate stuffed animals, coloring books/crayons, small toys and children�s books to police and fire departments for police officers, fire fighters and paramedics to give to children in traumatic situations. Since our founding in October 2003, we have donated over 27,000 stuffed animals and work with 157 police and fire departments throughout New England including many local departments. Many of the children who receive these items were involved in car accidents, witnessed domestic violence, are victims of child abuse or other violent crimes, coping with the loss of a loved one, or sick/injured. We also work with the Department of Children and Families to donate stuffed animals and other items for children entering foster care, many of whom have few, if any, personal possessions with them. Project Smile also donates stuffed animals and other items for children who are living in homeless shelters.

As we prepare to put the garden to rest, let us take time to reap the bounty of our harvest! All members of the community are invited to participate in this loving soup ritual. Vegetables & herbs will be gathered from the garden and prepared over an open fire while we give our gratitude in song, dance & drum. In the end we shall be nourished through our seasons of work, together, as a community. Also, should the pumpkins be ready in the pumpkin patch, our littlest members of the community will have the opportunity to choose their pumpkin for their Samhain / Halloween celebrations! This is the garden's gift to them. This is a free event, however donations will be accepted to cover the expenses of putting the garden to rest for the season. Blessed Be!
